Reports are coming in that Richard Wright may be a doubt for tomorrow's Worthington Cup clash with Coventry. Wright is suffering from a wrist injury and didn't train today and is rated as doubtful for tomorrow. |

Town scored a dramatic winner in injury time at Highfield Road to return to fifth in the table. Just about everyone had decided that a draw was probably on the face of it, a fair result when Fabian Wilnis popped up on the end of a Martijn Reuser cross to head past Kirkland in the Coventry goal. |

Jermaine Wright has emerged as Town's main worry ahead of Town's Sky clash with Coventry City tonight. He missed training yesterday suffering from a flu-bug and George Burlet has said that he will see how Wright is today before making any decision on him. |

Town's right wing/full-back Fabian Wilnis is facing a battle to be fit for Monday's clash with Coventry. The Dutchman was injured by a bad tackle from Graham Stuart during Saturday's game with Charlton and then aggravated the injury in a block tackle during the second half. His calf is very sore and he also has a problem with his ankle. He is due to start running today, but he is still a fair distance from being able to kick a ball. Gary Croft and Titus Bramble will hope for a chance to play on Monday at Highfield Road should Wilnis not make it. Jim Magilton is also being treated for his recurrent ankle problem. |
Reserves Lose Wed 15th Nov 2000 10:49
Town reserves lost 2-0 to Spurs last night, but more importantly Town seem to be involved in a minor goalkeeping crisis. Mike Salmon had to come off after 18 minutes suffering with a hand injury and was replaced by youngster Tomi Niemi. With James Pullen out for six weeks with a finger problem Town have a few problems in the keeping department. Keith Branagan is without a game after his knee problem, but seems likely to take to the bench on Saturday. Of course Richard Wright is a man rarely injured so we are unlikely to need the services of any other keeper anyway. |

Newspaper reports today are resuscitating the Scowcroft to Leicester rumour from last month. In a new twist this story is now being partnered by the Neil Lennon to Celtic link which has dragged on ever since Martin O'Neill jumped ship to Parkhead. Doesn't sound like there is too much real in it. |

Town got back on the right track with a 2-0 home win over Charlton at Portman Road. For 80 minutes the Town fans had a frustrating afternoon, but late strikes from Matt Holland and Marcus Stewart saw Town home. |

Town’s run of excellent away form came to an end with a 2-1 loss at Newcastle. Town went ahead in the thirteenth minute through Marcus Stewart, but two controversial Alan Shearer goals won the day for the Geordies. |
